Sinks that will work as undermounts, will have a lip that allows you to attach it to the bottom of a countertop; either with clips or with adhesive. You can create your own template by tracing the shape of the sink onto paper. Trace the outer edge and the inside edge. It’s important to trace the whole thing so you know how much space you need to leave for the lip underneath, as well as where to cut the hole.
