I cannot believe all you got done. You’re a superwoman–an idol… I feel very much like Brenna and think that a house with nothing but stud walls and moving boxes seems like a dream come true. I’ve wanted to fully gut and renovate a brick ranch for years, making it completely new, secure, and staple on the inside for decades (or centuries!), but essentially turning it into a time capsule in terms of layout, finishes, and furnishings. Right now I’m still in college, so this will be a dream that will likely take another five-six years or so to come to fruition, so I can afford it… Reading about you and your sister’s hard work makes it seem so exciting and possible, I can’t even tell you. You truly turned this place into a gem… anyone would see it and want it. 🙂 I cannot wait to see what you do with the new place–but take a well-deserved breather first! 😉

I am currently living with stud walls and moving boxes in almost every room after 3 years because I have fun re-imagining the spaces and making changes to reveal their full potential. Unfortunately, no one I know seems to understand how this is fun for me. I have to keep explaining over and over that it doesn’t stress me out and the dust is just part of the process.

Following your posts has shown me that I am not the only one who does this. Seeing your “afters”, hearing your excitement, checking the comments for motivation has connected me to an entire community. The support you have is amazing. Thank you for sharing!
