I would totally love a tutorial on doing a pocket door if you are so inclined. I have watched it done in my home in the laundry room by a professional, and I think I could do this! Love seeing you and your Dad do these projects together – it’s so sweet. I miss my Dad!

It must be great to have a dad like that. My father didn’t do work around the house – he worked on his semi-truck. I need some help if you can – I have a remodel project I need to do but am terrified to start. The bathtub (fiberglass – disgusting color) developed a crack in the bottom about nine months after we moved here. We quit using it and have just taken showers in the second bath. We bought a new tub and tile and I want to install a window above the tub for ventilation purposes – also purchased. Both bathrooms do not have windows in them and are dark caves. The way the windows are placed in the rest of the house there is very little cross breeze circulation. Hense the very real need to have a window in this bathroom. The problem is that I have never done anything like this before and am scared to try this on my own. My husband has no vision, isn’t mechanically inclinded, and no sommon sense. I found all this out after we were married. Therefore all the changes are mine to make and we don’t have the money to pay for anyone else to come in and work for us. Do you have any advise?
