In reply to Sharleen. Hi Sharleen! Yes, there are heavy duty drawer glides. The glides I installed over my washer and dryer will hold 250 pounds. Each pair or drawer glides will have a weight limit so you'll have to make sure to check that out when making your purchase.

I just “discovered” your site today while looking for a way to install some type of hanging mechanism in my very small laundry room. I’ve studied your plans for your new counter and have one question: how do you know that your drawer tracks (is that what they’re called?) are strong enough to hold your pull out rack when it is loaded with hanging clothes? Are there heavy-duty drawer tracks??? Thanks, Sharleen

Awesome plans. Can’t wait to see finished product. I’m moving into a new home and all of your posts inspire me. I’d be the ultimate new DIYer, but excited. Another note, is there a specific program you use to draw up all these plans?
