In reply to Marvin McConoughey. I am probably doing a mini-split system (two head) in the shop and traditional HVAC in the back rooms. I'm just kind of waiting to install any AC until I know that the leak is fixed. As soon as we get a good rain I'll feel better. I just don't want to build anything up until I know I'm not going to have any more foreseeable issues.

In reply to Donna L.. Thanks Donna. Yes I will have HVAC in the shop but not before we test our fix for the leak. It hasn't rained for ages. Not since the leak was fixed. It's insane. This is literally the longest span of no rain we've ever experienced here in East TN. Next week is supposed to cool off and rain. So we'll see! :-)

97 in East Tennesse? Holy cow girl, you’re as hot as it is here in central Arizona and we don’t have your humidity and flying critters to deal with…yikes. You have my complete sympathy — we’re waiting for real fall weather too.Its gonna be several more weeks for us.

Thanks for the update — I was literally just yesterday wondering how you were coming along.

Are you thinking of putting in a climate control system for the shop? Would that make it better or worse for acclimating wood?
