I’ve got one too… have you had any issues with the gun firing blanks? I’ve used mine extensively and have noticed that I have to open it up to reload the nails and fish out the one jammed. Any advice?

I am so excited to use this!

Yes, Gwen! The battery is rechargeable. The Amazon link I provided in the post includes a carrying case, battery and charger — so everything you need. I charged mine up and have been using it on that charge for 2 weeks. I take the battery out when I’m done using it for the day.

I just went to see if there was a picture of the whole kit I could add to the post as you brought up a good point…and saw that you can get an extra $25 off on that item until Dec 22!

My husband and I DIY around the house, but nothing to the level that you do. Always figured a whole compressor was overkill for how little we would use it. But we’ve put up crown molding and chair rails, and trimmed out windows and closet doors using a hammer and a nail set. We can see the value of nail gun. This seems like the perfect solution. So how do the batteries work on these things? We don’t even have a cordless drill so I’m not familiar with battery life, storing, etc. Could we just charge it up when we needed it? It doesn’t have to be kept plugged in, does it?
