I would like to shiplap vaulted bonus room (there is no existing drywall). Do I start at the flat center area of the ceiling and go down or start from the floor and go up? Do you have a tutorial on shiplapping a vaulted ceiling?

In reply to Dave Murray. Hi Dave, there are quite a few brands that manufacture solutions but I was trying to create a DIY solution that viewers and readers could recreate. What I created worked quite well and would be fine in a different space. That kitchen and pantry were a little too high end for me to leave that set up. I would totally do that in my craft room or workshop though. (Because I don't want to spend the kind of money those units are selling for.) I appreciate you looking out for me and sending suggestions.

Have you ever design and or built Armoires. My home is an 1890 version all brick which had very little if no wall closets. Looking to build a 7 to 9 foot high Armoire to match the style of this old home. Great web site you have, you book appears to hold many interests, which I’m looking to review.
