In retrospect, perhaps renting a Bobcat would have been less strenuous on the body, and would have scooped out those steps and moved them (and all that other stuff) to the dumpster more quickly. I’ve learned these lessons the hard way, and can’t do the heavy stuff anymore.

I like the new name you gave it. “Hideous Beast” is so much better than simply “the beast”. It WAS so so so exhausting, but rewarding to finally get them out.
