It is hard to let go of some of those original plans. I have three or four people that I frequently drag in to look at the room and project list and reassure me as to which ones are “necessary” and which ones to let go of. It’s helpful. If I relied solely on myself, I’d get sidetracked on tedious detail projects that take a week to finish an don’t have significant impact on the look or function of the room. I have to keep more of a “big picture” goal in order to get things done. That’s my hope.

I’ll probably do a secret bookcase door sometime. Just not here and now. I can’t spend that much time on single projects if I’m going to finish this whole house this year! (Which is my goal.)

I hope both our little dogs learn to respect our respective spaces. LOL
